The ES70 screen capture shows the echogram provided by a Simrad ES38 split-beam transducer. An area of the echogram has been zoomed in. Additional information panes are used to reveal fish position and size distribution.
SIMRAD ES70 Sounder
The Simrad ES70 can use up to six frequencies simultaneously with amazing fish finding proficiency. The low frequency 18 kHz version can detect single fish down to 1300 meters, while the high frequency 200 kHz version can detect targets just a few inches from the transducer. The echo sounder provides you with a vast range of information to ensure that you are able to maximize your catch.
Observe the theoretical maximum detection depths for various transducers. Not only has the development achieved one of the most comprehensive and high performance echo sounders available, the ES70 software system is also remarkably easy to use. The Simrad ES70 echo sounder is operated by means a standard computer trackball (or mouse) and a menu system.
The display presentation provided is based on an award winning design. The menu system, presentation of echograms, and the user interface elements have been created in close cooperation with designers and end users. There are no “hidden” dialog boxes.
