Marine Radio Acoustic Devices (MRAD) joined Sealite as an Authorised Distributor in 2017. We provide consultation, service and support within the regions of South Africa and Namibia.
Sealite is a global manufacturer and technology leader in the design and manufacture of marine aids to navigation (AtoN) equipment. Their range includes Marine Lighting, Navigation Buoys, Marine Floats, Port Entry Lighting systems, Lighthouse Lighting Equipment and Monitoring and Control systems.
MRAD is proudly South African and a Level 2 BBBEE. We strive for service excellence through the provision of innovative technology and service perfection. Our partnership with Sealite, has facilitated the delivery of many key Aids to Navigation projects within our region. They include:
- Lighthouse upgrades to energy efficient LED technology.
- Aids to Navigation port upgrades, replacing steel with polyethylene buoys for greater longevity and reduced maintenance costs.
- Traffic-light control projects that improve safety within eastern region ports.
- Breakwater lighting projects for risk reduction.
